entry requirements:

Bachelor of Arts (or equivalent) in Fashion Design or in a relevant field, including 240 credit points (shorter degrees can be compensated with an appropriate amount of work experience in the fashion/textile industry, at a professional level).

In exceptional cases, those who are able to demonstrate work experience in the fashion/textile industry at a professional level based on an apprenticeship or professional training may be also be eligable to apply.

Language skills: fluent English

Application process

The personality and capability of an applicant is just as important as their motivation. ESMOD Berlin highly values individual training - therefore the school has a slightly different selection process than that of state fashion schools. Candidates can apply informally throughout the year: there is no official deadline!

The application process involves three steps: first, the submission of a creative portfolio, CV and education certificates; second, completing a little homework given by ESMOD (as well as filling out a questionnaire), and finally, a personal interview. After the interview successful candidates will be notified of their acceptance to ESMOD Berlin.

Due to the increase in international applicants, interviews via Skype are also available.
